Change of buying procedure - COVID -19

Dear Valued customer,

As described in the newsletter, dated March 16th, 2020, hereby a brief explanation regarding the order procedure which will be in place until further notice.

Since the airlines operate with smaller fleets and several countries refusing flights from Europe or vice versa we are forced to change our order procedure. We will try to be as flexible as possible given the current circumstances but hope for your cooperation.

As per now we will only start buying the required products after we get a flight confirmation from the airline. For example, if you place your order on a Tuesday and we will only get the flight confirmation on a Wednesday, the items will be bought and shipped out on Thursday. We don’t keep any stock the coming period, all will be bought on the auction at the day of packing. So we don’t have the option of filling in last minute orders on the packing date itself.

Please try to place your order the day before the packing date, but at least before 04:30am(GMT+1) on the packing date so we can source the items in time.

Please note that, even though flights are confirmed the day before packing, airlines can still decide to cancel the flights on the packing date itself. This is something which we experienced today already. We will keep you informed at all times and hope for your cooperation in this matter.

In addition to the disrupted flight schedule, we expect that the plant and flower offer on the auction will go down drastically due to the bad prices of the last 2 days. The growers are allowed to bring only 30% of their usual production to the auction which could result in higher prices. In addition the importers most likely will stop sending their product to the Dutch auction which would result in unavailability of certain items.

We are very sorry for any inconveniences caused and hope for your kind cooperation. These are unprecedented times and we will do our utmost best to provide you with the service you can expect from Florca.
