Dear Valued customer,
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, we’ve been monitoring the situation minutely and are doing everything possible to assist you with your upcoming orders and questions. Through this letter we would like to update you on the current situation in the Netherlands and the rest of the world in relation to the COVID-19 virus related to our business.
The virus is not notified in our company but present in the Netherlands and we want to do our part in minimizing its spread. We’ve taken precautions to prevent the virus from spreading and in the meantime we are keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.
To prevent the virus from spreading, the Dutch government decided to close the majority of the public facilities starting from Monday March 16th until April 6th. The airports in Europe are still open, however some countries refuse flights coming from Europe or vice versa. We are trying our utmost best to send the shipments as booked. We will personally inform you if your shipment is cancelled or need to be rebooked. We humbly request your cooperation in this situation.
Given the challenges we are facing, we have to slightly adjust the order procedure. Please notify us of any bookings in advance (at least 48 hours prior to the packing date), so we can pre-book the freight with the airline. Once the booking is confirmed we will inform you so you could start placing the order. We will send a separate letter, explaining the adjusted order procedure in detail.
We are aiming to give you an update at least once a week, if there are any urgent announcements to make we will immediately contact you. May you have any questions or requiring any assistance in this matter, please feel free to contact your account manager. We are happy to assist you wherever possible.
We hope for your understanding and cooperation in this unprecedented situation. And most important, we hope you to stay safe and healthy during this crisis.
Kind Regards,
Carlo Vijverberg
