In the 1990s, a group of plant growers joined forces and founded Decorum, an association with more than 50 Dutch growers. These growers select their most attractive products to supply under the common brand, Decorum.

Uniformity within a lot is a key concern, with all products having to be the same height, width and/or length. Selection can range from manual inspection to the use of advanced technology, and external quality controllers reinforce quality standards.
