- Flower of the month: Gerbera Mini
What is the difference between Gerbera's and Germini's?
The main difference between Gerberas and Germinis is in their size. Germinis, with their diameter of 8 centimetres or smaller, are the cute mini versions of Gerberas, growing to more than 8 centimetres. Despite their compact size, they share the same cheerful look, long stems and a palette of colours that excites the imagination.
What types and colours of Germini's are there?
The world of Germinis is filled with diversity. From single-flowered to double-flowered, there is something for everyone. And then there are the colours! The floral splendour is available in a dazzling range, from fresh shades like white, yellow and pink to intense colours like purple, orange and green. Two-coloured and multi-coloured Germinis add another dimension to the colour splendour.
What are the trends for Germini's?
Germinis are trendy and popular. They are frequently used in bouquets and floral arrangements, where they display their cheerful character and charm. Germinis' popularity extends to bridal bouquets and corsages, where they add a unique and festive touch.

Which flowers can you combine Germini's with?
Germinis are real mood creators that fit effortlessly into any interior. Whether you combine them with pastel shades for a romantic atmosphere or bright colours for an explosion of cheerfulness, Germinis lend themselves perfectly to creative combinations.
Tips to enjoy your Germini's for a long time:
1. Choose the right vase: Use a clean vase large enough for the Germinis. Make sure the vase is filled with clean, cold water. Add cut flower food to the water.
2. Cut the stems diagonally: Use a sharp knife to cut the stems diagonally. Remove any leaves hanging in the water.
3. Change the water regularly: Change the water every other day. Then rinse the vase clean as well.
4. Place the Germinis in a cool place: Avoid direct sunlight and draughts. Do not put the Germinis near fruit, as this can make the flowers age faster.
How long do Germini's keep?
Germinis are true flower heroes in terms of shelf life. With proper care, such as changing the water regularly and cutting the stems at an angle, they can delight you with their beauty for 7 to 10 days.
