From the Vijverberg family's lily farm, Carlo Vijverberg started exporting to America and Canada in 1999. Shortly thereafter, in 2000, Alex van der Goes became a partner. With a delivery van, we picked up all flowers directly from growers in the Westland and then packed them at the nursery for the relevant air freight destinations. In 2003, we entered into a strategic partnership with flower export company Hamifleurs and moved to the modern Hamifleurs premises on Trade Parc Westland. By making use of Hamifleurs' purchasing power combined with the exchange of personnel, we were able to focus more on acquisition, resulting in rapid growth. Today we have expanded the number of export markets to more than 60 air freight destinations worldwide, including America, Canada, Middle East, Far East, Africa and the Caribbean.
