    Florca supplies Strelitzia in several varieties and sizes. Strelitzia reginae is the classic bird of paradise flower with orange and blue flowers - available as a pot plant from 12Ø cm and as a cut flower at 70 to 90 cm. Strelitzia nicolai is the big banana-like brother with white flowers and leaves that can grow meters high. Strelitzia alba is the white ornamental variety. Pot sizes for potted plants range from 12Ø to 30Ø cm, in heights from 35 to 180 cm.

    Strelitzia is useful as a cut flower in tropical bouquets, as an impressive houseplant in atriums, lobbies and shopping centers, and as a patio or garden plant in summer. The plant has a long life span and is popular in project plantings for its low maintenance requirements.

    Florca delivers exclusively to business customers: florists, garden centers, wholesalers, event agencies and other professional buyers. Private orders are unfortunately not possible.

    Both. We supply Strelitzia reginae and Strelitzia nicolai as pot plants from 60 cm table sizes to 200 cm+ floor specimens, plus cut Strelitzia reginae stems year-round through Spanish and Dutch growers. Cut and pot Strelitzia can be combined in one shipment.

    Strelitzia reginae (the orange Bird of Paradise flower) is the strongest seller for both flowering potted plants and cut parts; Strelitzia nicolai (large white) is in growing demand as a statement-floor plant for hospitality and modern interiors. Both species ship excellently by air freight.

    Strelitzia reginae typically blooms from 4-5 years old; Strelitzia nicolai is grown primarily for its impressive foliage. We are happy to advise on age and bud number for orders where flowering specimens are required.
