VannoVa is a collective of eight family-owned businesses that share their knowledge, experience, and expertise with one another. Together, the Master Growers cultivate a wide variety of chrysanthemums on approximately 42 hectares.
One thing is central to this partnership: consistent quality. The flowers are carefully selected based on criteria such as color, weight, ornamental value, firmness, and shelf life.
According to the growers, a true VannoVa chrysanthemum must not only look beautiful at the time of delivery, but also continue to perform well afterward—especially when the flowers have a long journey ahead of them.
For Florca, that reliability is especially important. Our flowers are shipped to customers all over the world every day. A product must therefore not only be robust when it leaves the greenhouse, but also suitable for international transport.
That is why VannoVa tests the shelf life of chrysanthemums. The flowers are tested under various conditions: in the box for long-distance shipping, in the bucket, and finally in a vase.
This allows us to identify any potential issues early on and ensures that quality remains as consistent as possible. It is precisely this combination of quality, shelf life, and transportability that makes chrysanthemums an attractive product for our international customers.
VannoVa is also constantly evolving its product line. In the fall, warm and deep colors naturally play an important role.
Varieties such as Lamira Red, Purpetta Red, and Doria Cherry are a perfect fit for fall bouquets and arrangements thanks to their colors.
In addition, there are several varieties that growers are particularly enthusiastic about right now. Airborne and Tutu stand out in the assortment. Among the Santinis, Antonelli is an interesting newcomer. This Santini variety was added to the assortment this year and stands out for its long shelf life. This variety really comes into its own, especially in the fall.
This way, the product line continues to evolve, while the focus on quality remains the same.
